  • don't want to require facebook
  • don't want to have to manage a whitelist, accounts, or email authorization
  • don't want to require a captcha
  • don't want to have to manage lots of spam comments
  • "secured" with a single, static password. quite simple security for a humble blog's comments system. if it becomes troublesome, we can improve from there.
  • want to have a name field, want to have a box for it
  • non-threaded
